I was lured in by false advertising

• I was lured in by false advertising. I got a bonus that said once I deposited money I could withdraw what I had won with the bonus. When I made the deposit I was informed that I could not withdraw until I played $1600. I was conned.

Terrible experience

• I have been coming to Las Vegas since I was 3 years old and I am now 42. In all my years of coming I have not had bad customer service like I did this time. I brought one of my family members to Las Vegas for a short relaxing/ reset. The only thing she requested to do was go to the Golden Nugget and swim with the shark tank. I already made reservations at NYNY. I called the Golden Nugget reservation desk to ask questions regarding a daily pass for the pool. The reservation desk told me it would be cheaper to book a room rather than get two daily passes. He told me the price would be $28 plus the $51 resort fee and that was it. I paid it on the spot and reserved a night. Upon check in the reservation stated I I had to pay an additional $132 for the night. This was wrong but I paid it since my family member wanted to visit the pool. Once we got to the pool they were draining it. They said there was the hideout “adults only” pool. We went ahead and went up there. The pool was shaded and everyone was standing like sardines. We made the best of it. We had put our personal belongings on a lounge chair while we were in the pool. My family member went to get her phone to FaceTime her baby when she observed two females in our spot. They had picked up our belongings and moved them. These two women thought it was funny and began calling my family member down when she confronted them about moving our items. The male party of the girls tried giving free drinks to allow those girls to stay. My family member went to speak to the manager. The manager “Kevin” sided with the rude girls and began cussing at my family member. The manager then upgraded those rude girls to a lounge bed. My family member came back to the pool upset “Kevin” the manager came to the pool in front of other guests yelling at my family member. One pool hand stated the boyfriend of those girls spend money there and Kevin was probably catering to them because of how much the boyfriend spent. This is completely wrong. Many guest who witnessed “Kevin” treat my family member rudely stated they will never stay at the golden nugget again. They also informed me they witnessed similar behavior at the pool with “ Kevin” and another guest the day before. Overall this was the worst experience in Vegas I have encountered and Kevin needs to be trained on customer service. We didn’t need to book a room I only booked a room here to fulfill a dream my family member had ( swim at the pool near the shark tank). Last time she saw it it was barely being built. Instead the pool was drained and she was belittled by the guests and pool manager Kevin. This was a terrible experience.

• I caught the golden nugget casino not once but twice not paying me for winning a major win and I appealed to them to pay me and I had the bet ID number on both times they cheated me and then all of a sudden I am on restrictions and I am not getting paid unless I give them information I dont possess please pay attention to your wins because they think if you are elderly you are not interested in them cheating be careful.I will contact the state but they are on the casino payroll

• Horrible site. I usually do not provide negative comments on Casino slots. But this one is the worst. It took a half hour just to set up a new account. • Over a 3 month period I lost $60000. I WAS WOOED by a Mandy Scully Scully sent metest rounds with some kind of decent perks to see if I was a good fit to advance to VIP. Once advanced the good perks just about stopped. My Then assigned VIP host Candice.... the oh so sweet Jersey Gal who lives at the beach and has a dog.... huggy kissy host told me I could contact her every week for a perk.... a whopping 400 bucks later over a few weeks she wouldnt even give me 20 bucks! SO....after a kinda rant filled email to her about her less than adequate handling of my account.... Golden Nugget without notice abruptly gave me a 3 month suspension... Pretty sweet to make 60 grand and then just off your customer huh??After 3 months and several customer service surveys my account was reinstated. Now my wonderful host has not responded to a single message I have sent her not a single one....EVER since my reinstatement And since the non play for 3 months my account has apparently been downgraded..... Terrible Customer Service

• On the third morning of a four-day stay at The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas we were awakened at 6AM by water coming through the ceiling and hitting a desk. It started out as a bunch of drips landing loudly on the desk—loud enough to wake us up!—and quickly turned into a flow of water.I immediately notified staff of the problem but it took them an hour to get to the room. While waiting we cleared all of our personal possessions away from the area and put towels down. After a maintenance person arrived and looked at the damage (and the still-flowing water) he informed us we would be given another room and someone would bring up the key. This all transpired quite calmly and matter-of-factly.Sleep was not possible for me after all this so I went down to watch a soccer game. I was gone for three hours but when I returned to the room we still had not received any information or keys for the new room. I went to the front desk and they didn’t seem to have any knowledge of the water situation or our new room but eventually they got it taken care of and gave me new keys. There was no offer to help move our luggage so we had to pack up and move everything ourselves. The new room smelled like a cigar lounge even though all guest rooms at the hotel are ostensibly smoke-free. They offered to deodorize which they did during a time that we told them we would be out of the room and that did alleviate the smell quite a bit.We lost about 10 hours—the better part of day—before all this was done. Not to mention being awoken at 6AM with a little mini disaster while on vacation!When we checked out of the hotel I described all the issues and the clerk offered to remove the resort fees for our stay. I asked to speak with the manager and waited close to an hour but the manager never came out.I was told the hotel could not remove any room charges because we booked through a third party—Expedia. In order to get any compensation I was told to talk with a security manager and file a report. I waited another 45 minutes for the security manager who then had me describe the entire situation again. It really felt like the security manager’s role was to intimidate me. And why refer me to a manager that is not authorized to make adjustments to the hotel charges in the first place only to have that manager never appear and then refer me to yet another manager who could also not do anything?After all this time trying to get resolution through multiple discussions where I never raised my voice I did not have more time to file a report. I had a work deadline that I had to take care of. And after that we had to leave for the airport.After returning home I contacted Expedia and they called The Golden Nugget to seek resolution on my behalf. Once again The Golden Nugget refused to take any action.I was very disappointed with how we were treated and so much of my time wasted. This is a busy hotel casino and you would think the staff would be better able to handle issues that inevitably come up. The water problem wasn’t caused by the hotel—it was a guest that left water running so long that it damaged the room below AND the room below that—yet the hotel staff’s response to that and the follow-on events was bungled with no attempt made to remediate. You would think they would want to treat guests like well guests. I will never stay at the Golden Nugget again.

• I close my DraftKings account over a year ago. When Golden Nugget opened I created an account and played for 4 months. Just yesterday they locked my account and said that I requested to have it permanently closed. I never requested to have Golden Nugget closed I guess they are basically the same site and because I closed the DraftKings account a year ago they closed that one. I never should have been allowed to open a golden nugget account if that was the case. But instead they took my money for 4 months and they said since it was played they wont give it back to me. If I won on that casino they never would have paid me out. Its against the responsible gaming laws to let someone wager on a closed account. The bad thing is this also happened to my wife and a friend of mine so they are doing this to lots of people and just flat out taking money.
