3 star experience from longtime video gamer
- I was playing it from December 2023 for a period of about 9 months and I mean seriously playing it...using alarm clock on phone to maximise dice revenue in a every 8 hours out of 24 hour system. Doing it that way meant I was always fully topped up with dice when the alarm went off at wake up time and until bed time. The game became stupidly addictive although I never resorted to paying any money. But stupidly addictive. The side games were good but once they brought in a racer type team game it occurred to me that there were people that were playing it and taking it far too seriously as at the end of the day the only point to it is to complete the sticker albums. I came within 2 cards of completing an album once. I could have bought the two cards for 40$ (it asked me to) but I did not bother. The sticker exchange was usually an unfriendly experience. Mind you I did use some of the stickers that had titles that could be used as insults to even up a naff offer of a sticker from someone (a bit like how Discogs moderators use certain song titles to insult its userbase of contributors).Like many other people it seemed that the rolls are designed so you often just miss out on what you need. But the rewards are good especially for a new player. The first 100 boards are good and winning tournaments was possible.Im from the oldschool of completing games. On Monopoly GO! I got up to about board 285. My intention was to see if the board ladder ever had an end to it a bit like completing it. Seemed that once get that far though the boards and themes e.g. Paris in the Rain etc. are recycled. So it probably goes on forever.An absolute massive waste of time and if you have plenty of time to waste its pretty good. When I stopped they had not created groups or clamped down on cheats which apparently they now do? So If anyone wants to go back to how the game was originally intended before it started getting silly there is a very similar game called Mafia GO! which is what I am playing at the moment. Its fun for just casually playing this type of game.What I liked about Monopoly GO! was the artwork of the boards and stickers. Infact I screen captured every new board welcome screen plus various happenings in the game. The sticker albums had lovely renditions. But the stupidly competitive nature of other players became ridiculous and I admit I also became one repeat targeting players in shutdowns! Mad game that is taken far too seriously by people. Definitely worth trying out though.Notice. Review is accurate but the date of experience to select here does not go back far enough.

This is the biggest rig game Ive ever…
- This is the biggest rig game Ive ever played. Like the race that is going on now. My team has only gotten the weight twice since the game has started and were in final race. Two other teams have thrown 25 weights on us. You do the math. My group will never participate in another race. Should put in this happens every race event. The sticker albums are also rigged. Me and my wife play with our daughter and grandchildren. Trying to get them to collect anything from a win but this corrupt game they cant have any fun with.

- Wish I never downloaded because first off you can’t win anything without spending money. Then they put out an article about how they don’t mess with the algorithm but that is a lie. I had plenty of opportunities to get a wild card as I needed one card to complete my album and they purposely sabotaged me because they wanted someone to spend $60 on a wild card. Bunch of crock shit and I deleted the app. They really should be ashamed setting up people to fail.

Wronged faithful player
- I have been a faithful player of monopoly but it constantly glitches and gives very very poor customer service. As I just completed my album and received my final sticker they keep track of your progress and know I completed the game only for them to deny me my credits on the game and show I completed it. I messaged them and even with records showing i completed plus I have screenshot they refused to acknowledge I completed the ge album and give me the advance dice and token. They scam you even if you pay to buy more dice

- Absolute joke after the latest issues I lost 11k dice because of there issues and was 1st place in the tournament and all they gave out was 400 dice and a blue pack but that was to everyone not just those effected and then they tell me that they don’t give out freebies! The game really has gone downhill these last few months. Scopely don’t care about players but only care about what money they can get it’s pure greed no use playing if you going to spend money on it. And once you do spend money the offers go up higher each time so now a wild sticker is £80 on mine but £44 on my other account.

- You play every single day trying to complete the boards and they just keep sending you the same old bullshit stickers—knowing damn well you can’t finish the album! The game itself is fun but it’s completely misleading. It tricks you into thinking you’re close to completing sets but you never get the rare stickers you actually need. Monopoly GO needs to be more fair and stop playing with people’s time and money.

- Just thought I would share this with everyone. I love playing this game. I very rarely make purchases on the game. The few times that I have it’s been because I’m so close to whatever the next prize is. So this morning I only needed 5 more axes to finish the last level. So I purchased 10 axes for $3.99. The final prize included 400-1.2k dice. I ended up with 400 when I could have just purchased more dice plus a sticker pack or whatever. Oh and the sticker boom is a joke too! Every single time I have saved my stars for the big vault I NEVER get a new sticker. I’m down to only needing 5 golds. I have only finished the album one time in the 2 years I’ve been playing.I’M STARTING TO THINK THIS GAME IS A SCAM AND IM PROBABLY GOING TO DELETE.Good luck everyone!
