The computer opponent is way too…

• The computer opponent is way too slow. The response time for playing letters is slow and wonky. The game doesnt recognize legitimate words. And the weirdest thing happened - after the first game the entire layout changed no longer showing aspects of the game that make it fun i.e. the tile bag letter scores etc. were visible the first game off to the right of the board - then disappeared.

Ads are a turn off

• Its good for the brain but the intrusion of ads particularly telling me my phone is infected with viruses is an absolute turn off

Caught the computer adding my score…

• Caught the computer adding my score onto itself at the same time. Many times. Does a computer normally cheat??

A shame for a game that people love

• I have been playing this game for over a year now. I have thought several times to quit due to the constant barrage of adverts...One after each move; absolutely absurd! Some of the adverts are absolutely awful such as King Robert Ali Express & Temu. Some even manage to corrupt our phones rendering the phone useless for a minute or so. Temu & Ali Express appear to be experts at phone corruption. it makes one wonder if they are attempting to hack personal info which would not be a surprise in this day and age of cyber hacking. These adverts are taking over our enjoyment of playing a time honoured game that most people love.

The game gives you the alleged option…

• The game gives you the alleged option of removing ads. I purchased a one day option and ads still came up at the same frequency. So I did not bother again. You then get ads which block the screen or a blank black screen with a lighter band on top of the screen which does the same. Deliveroo are a particular culprit. This is corrupt behaviour at best and if it is not already so illegal.

When playing Scrabble Go (using both…

• When playing Scrabble Go (using both Android or iPad version) when subscribing to the 5 pound [stering] monthly cost the service cant be recommended. The reason I put forward is the machine Scrabble Scholar is causing the game to lock up so that you: 1) Play your tiles2) Scrabble Scholar will then advise what is the best option. 3) Having been presented with the information and closing it down it should then be the Machines (Zoey) turn. But no....Scrabble Scholar will then re-appear to advise AGAIN !! what is the best option. 4) This loop continues and the only way to continue the game is to shut the programme down clear the app cache and start again. The SCOPELY service desk do not grasp the problem and just endlessly advise their apolgies but take no action....eg: Im really sorry to hear though that you have to experience this issue. I did check the records on our end and found that we have an active report related to this case in the game. Ill be adding yours to this report to let the team know how this is greatly affecting your game progress. Ill also be making a follow up on this matter to see if they can find a way to expedite the process of fixing the issue.......of course Ill not receive any follow up. (@Scopely....you need to beef up your second and third line support team to help them provide better customer support. For a company turning over in excess of USD 700 Mn per annum it should be possible.

• I used to really love scrabble on line. Now it is filled with frustration as you cannot easily move the letters. I believe this has occurred since you started advertising above the line. You are forcing your customers to look at an ad which they are not interested in. It is so very frustrating sadly I can no longer tolerate

zoe online scrabble is a cheat

• ok not only has the computer cheated by not answering and letting the time run out TWICE today but i have also just noticed that when the computer bot cheats this way even though it shows ive lost to it that loss doea not show up on my games history so cannot be checked. a conspiracy or what??

Scammed

• Scrabble has a lot of ads and there was an offer to skip ads for three days. I paid for it and imagine my consternation when the ads kept merrily popping up!They sure do know how to take gullible people for a ride!!!!!

Very hard to get matched with a real…

• Very hard to get matched with a real player. The computer matches are impossible to beat because the computer is always given premium tiles with which to make high value points. Regular players are given low point tiles or tiles with no all vowels.

Fed up of words allowed and not…

• Fed up of words allowed and not allowed. The f word and the c word allowed as are things like aa ee but jew is not because its deemed offensive!

Very expensive at $7.99 per month

• Very expensive at $7.99 per month. Forced to sit through long ads for games I would never play. Constant interruptions with offers to spend more money. Almost impossible to reach a human being. AI is terrible. Reported a player who was impersonating a celebrity several times and got no response. Pay $9.99 per YEAR for MS games that are never interrupted by ads. Enjoyed playing the game but it is totally not worth the aggravation and expense.

Too many faults to make it worth your time.

• I gave it 2 stars because it is an authentic Scrabble game with no popups. I play the computer. After 25 games I have quit out of frustration. The computer always goes first so I never get that advantage. I get 4 vowels in my rack at all times (unless its 6-7 consonants. My opponent gets 3-4 Ss in every game and often both blanks. If I get a blank its on the last turn. Its just not fun! I wrote the owners but they never responded.

• it cheats on word count. It doesnt accept common words like pint and may others

Avoid

• Dreadful site. Ads are dubious. Ive been stopped from playing words which my opponent is allowed later in the game. Scoring is crazy. I was dropped 111 points for losing to someone rated over 200 points above me and dropped 20 points for beating somebody ranked over 200 points above me.I love scrabble but hate the siteAvoid.

• This incarnation of online Scrabble has been going for over 2 years. It is as awful as the day it opened.The game freezes when some adverts are displayedTo get past the freeze I have to reset my ipadOften the person who played the last tile is incorrect therefore the game gets the score wrongThe game takes an age to load because of all the flashing images etc.JW Spears who must be getting a cut of the ad revenue should be ashamed of themselves

Poor security

• This app kept trying to link me into websites that my Norton security was labelling as malware and the adverts were popping up all the time and very difficult to get rid of. I love scrabble but have deleted the app due to the security risk.
