Not the best experience
- Not the best experience after having an email telling me to login to my account on ticket sale day I couldn’t find how to get the tickets. I had to go through my previous emails to find the correct link. (I actually received the correct link 2 hours after the ticket lines opened!!) I managed to get centre court tickets right at the back but as I was taking my 80 year old mother who has problems walking this was not good. I emailed Wimbledon to ask if there were any lower seats available but my email was ignored. On the day conveniently the opponent of Novak Djokovic withdrew an hour or so before play this resulted in just two competitive matches being played on centre court yet on July 10th (the day we went) Wimbledon broke the record for the most matches played in a single day!! It cost over £400 for our day out just to see one women’s match and a mixed doubles. Think twice about spending your hard earned money!!

For the last 12 years I have entered…
- For the last 12 years I have entered the public ballot but unfortunately without success. As an avid fan it disappoints me greatly to see so many empty seats at great matches on courts one and centre court. Sold obviously to people who would rather sit in hospitality then watch a match that they bought a ticket for. Then you look at the stars in the Royal box mostly rich celebrities and guess what the seat is free and so is the hospitality and then they get their free goody bag. Maybe the LTA should ask them to make a donation to charity for the privilege. I also out of interest tickets for the Men’s final a mere £8300 each out of reach for 99% of us. Fingers crossed for the next ballot.

- Court 1 back row but still had good view. Queue for hot drinks long but not too bad but quality of hot chocolate and size was poor. Good bus service to and from wimbledon station.

Resale tickets via My Wimbledon account
- I was unsuccessful in the ballot for this year (2024). This via having a My Wimbledon and LTA account. Why have they stopped giving people the chance to purchase resale tickets via MyWimbledon this year. I can’t afford debenture tickets and yet my only other option is to wait in the queue and hope I get in. In 2019 I queued for 6 hours in extremely hot weather and got in by 3.15pm. Whilst queuing and watching the big screens there were loads of empty seats on centre court (probably the debenture ticket holders ones). How fair is this that fans should queue for hours. Please review this to try and make it a little bit fairer for a genuine fan. I am fortune that I have been lucky in getting ballot and resale tickets to centre and number 1 courts but many other fans won’t have been.

The Wombles of Wimbledon
- They couldnt care less about their own British players. Thats how stuck up they are. They seem to be so proud of turning a tournament into an SS concentration camp minus the barbed wire by using officials dressed in old fashioned military uniforms to man the security....who do they think they are. Ive seen less bald spots in the Royal box than on their courts.

Wont be bothering again...
- We last attended the AELTC 10 years ago in 2013 got to see many different players and there was always seats available on the outside courts. I dont think anything couldve prepared us for our return this year. Where to start wed been able to get parking in Wimbledon Park but the people directing us there sent us the wrong way and we ended up in Wimbledon Village. When we finally got there we had to queue to get in even though we already had paid for our tickets. Upon entrance to the grounds there was far too many people being admitted and majority of the time it was impossible to even navigate through the gangways between courts due to there being so many people. We had been to Wimbledon in the years 2011-2013 and had always been a very pleasurable experience (I am a massive tennis fanatic by the way) but now it saddens me to say that I wont be returning nor would I recommend anyone else too. Far too stressful overpriced food nowhere to sit and when you pay £100 a ticket you expect things to be organised better such a huge disappointment for what once was an exciting place to be.

The venue is grossly oversold
- The venue is grossly oversold well above its seating capacity of the courts. It was impossible to see any tennis at all sit down anywhere or see anything. A complete waste of a day. Will not attend again in the future and would not recommend it to anyone unless they love to queue for hours to maybe catch a glimpse of some action.

Overcrowded
- Went yesterday with a ground pass. Once you’re in there are queues to get into every court sometimes for 45 minutes. This did not used to be the case. It is simply not fair to charge people for entry and then not admit them to the courts. They are letting far too many people in and the place is overcrowded. Very disappointing.

Ridiculous Survey!!
- I have today received the most ridiculous survey BEFORE I arrive on my expected visit to the Championship. This is taking the data available to them to another level!

Discrimination of wheelchair users
- It is impossible to get wheelchair accessible tickets for the tournament. The Queue is geared towards able bodied attendees and have been advised no dedicated wheelchair tickets available on the day to purchase in the morning. Complete discrimination!!

- My experience at Wimbledon was far from good. To go to AELTC was a bucket list desire..I dont have enough space to include complete chaos of tickets but about disable access. I want to warn people with mobility issues that Wimbledon is awful both with access but also resolution services...so plz if you have mobility issues ensure all booked correctly..I booked disability seats + offered 21st row!!! To change to disability seating wanted me to pay £10 extra!! Nice penalised for being disabled..rant over but plz be vigilant with bookings

Ticket troubles too
- Also tried to transfer a ticket due to COVID. Was told we were to late but would try transfering to same household. Never happened so person attended anyway on 5th day. Tickets on phone never worked. No WiFi signal on some courts. Some stewards helpful. No wonder so many empty seats on show courts this year. Sort it out Wimbledon for next year. Still great tennis when you can get to see it.

Unable to Transfer Ticket to Guest - 27 Jun 22
- I have tickets for Mon 27 Jun 22 but became ill this week and the doctor advised I needed to rest. I called Wimbledon to request a refund for my ticket only to be told that my friend would not be able to go either because the window to transfer their ticket had passed. I was not made aware there was a deadline for transferring their ticket and have still not managed to find any details on the website of this date. My friend is devastated as we have waited 2yrs for this event. My friend will also lose out financially as a refund is not available for parking which they have paid in advance. The deadline for transferring tickets should be explicit. It seems cruel that I should suffer twice (firstly with my illness and secondly watching my friend suffer) because of Wimbledon’s lack of clarity and inflexibility in their ticketing process.

Killers of the spirit of the game
- The organizers banned Russians and Belarus athletes from Wimbledon 2022 participation. The decision is absolutely illegal and killing the tournament and the spirit of the tennis. Boycotte Wimbledon boycotte nazism!

Winderful Wimbledon 2021
- The new online system in 2021 worked great for me. Many of the people having issues didn’t read the instructions carefully. You had to have the My Wimbledon app and your ticketmaster account. Yes the online ticket queue was long but I got a ticket for manic Monday. The ticket showed up in my app. The only thing I didn’t like was that the QR code on the app does not appear until the morning of your visit which caused me quite a lot of panic! The actual venue was really well organised with lots of staff to help.I literally walked straight in - COVID status proof on the NHS app. Wimbledon has a magical atmosphere. Due to COVID (I think) 5 courts were ticket only so spent a bit of time on The Hill watching centre court matches on the big screen. Even the parking was well organised. Apart from my favourite player losing I had a brilliant day!
