I saw the advert on oddschecker and thought id open a new account.I signed up and deposited around £600 and placed several bets. Most of which were losers I had a winner on an in play basketball bet. The bet was not (and still isnt) settled. I reached out to customer service and was told I need to email over a few documents (I’m assuming for identity verification) and once I do they will re open it. Bally Bet closed my account after £11 win – unfair verification tactics

• I joined Bally Bet and placed a £10 bet which resulted in an £11.05 win. I withdrew the money on 27/07/2025. Almost immediately my account was shut down and I was hit with unreasonable verification demands even though I had already submitted all documents typically required under UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) guidelines.They had already received:A copy of my passport and a selfie holding itA utility bill and bank statement showing payments to Bally BetElectoral register confirmation of my addressThese documents clearly verified my identity address and source of funds. There were no concerns raised about fraud or chargebacks. Still Bally Bet refused to process the withdrawal and demanded a photo of my bank card and a new selfie taken outside my home. These requests came after my withdrawal and served no valid purpose. According to UKGC rules such post-withdrawal demands are not allowed if the information could have reasonably been requested earlier. I also explained that I live in a rural area with no house number or name making the outdoor selfie request completely unworkable — and potentially discriminatory.Worse still I attempted to submit a formal complaint via live chat but was told I had to complete verification first — a stance that breaches UKGC rules which require operators to accept complaints regardless of verification status. My emails to the official complaints address have not been answered.Despite multiple follow-ups via email with the general support team I’ve had no resolution.
