I’m not going to lie I had higher hopes for BetMGM than what I ended up with. The support I received at BetMGM was nothing short of stellar. I actually went in to speak to representatives multiple times just to make sure that I hadn’t accidentally got lucky the first time. While BetMGM sportsbook has one of the sexiest bet builders around and offers live betting live stream and live data the truth is that Sugarhouse and FanDuel still seem that little bit better. The truth is that I was so happy with how easy it was to navigate the site that I was almost willing to overlook certain things — the key word here being almost.Yes parlay was overwhelmingly present but the live data could have been improved on in order to make the experience feel more authentic. For example in soccer while there was a lot of info about goals and penalties there was no information about ball possession. Little things like this would not only have improved my experience as a dedicated sports bettor but they were also the reason why this section didn’t get a perfect score. It was close but ultimately no cigar.

We checked the odds of several games at BetMGM sportsbook at random times and changed them to percentages to see what kind of house edge the sportsbook had. We quickly concluded that while the odds are good enough they could be better.
When we cross-checked the odds of different sports on the site we found that the general BetMGM sportsbook payout was 94.97% which while not bad could definitely be better. When it comes to my opinion on odds I could be happier with what was offered. Keeping in mind that a top sportsbook percentage would be 97% and a low one would be around 93% I would describe what we received on all fronts as pretty much average with the live section getting the lowest score.When I looked at both football and basketball specifically I found that they were somewhat in the same waters with football getting a marginally higher percentage than basketball’s 95.64% (baseball couldn’t be checked at this point as the season hasn’t started).What makes things better is that this sportsbook has parlay boosts which help increase your BetMGM sportsbook payouts when you make accumulated bets.
