Very much like Pam and Karl before
- Very much like Pam and Karl before. I was was called by my upset 84 year old terminally ill mother last night lotto express have taken nearly £700 from her so far. Similar story my mother and my now deceased father responded to their advert through the post to play the Irish lottery as my father was Irish they thought they would for a month and paid £28 by cheque. Months later after my father had passed my mother received a call from an Irish guy from lotto express wanting my mother to continue playing the Irish lottery. My mother explained she had recently lost her husband and she was terminally ill herself so didnt want any bother didnt want to play or pay any more money. The guy on the phone appeared to understand and said he would pray for her and said it would cost her any additional money. My mother said the man was very pushy and spoke about playing lotto around the world in other countries. My mother continued to say that she did not want to play and very much did not to pay anymore money. As a way of getting the man off the phone my mother finally agreed to play the Irish lottery but just for the same money. The guy at lotto express said he would send through the paper work.Nominal payments started to come out of my mothers account of £10 but then increased to £18. Recently she has had several of over £100. The paper work which promised months ago arrived yesterday and it would appear that lotto express are charging my mother to play all over the world in several different countries Spain Australia etc. Not just the Irish one she agreed to.She is cancelling the payment today with her bank. Does anyone have advice on what to do from here? Contact the bank of course try to contact lotto express. Has anyone had any success?

Lottoexpress robdogs.
- I have just discovered that my Uncle (90yo) has been contacted by lottoexpress - since July 2020 they have taken £3000 off him promising a big win is close. It started with random payments of £16 & £8 then stepped up to £30 £40 £60 ending when I intervened at £196 & £189 only 7 days apart. Payments at the start were random - from once in a blue moon to three times a month. I stopped the last payment and cancelled his bank card - they have rung him today to attempt to get ££ from him. I will be calling them tomorrow.....

Please do not use this company
- Please do not use this company. I was visiting my elderly disabled mother and noticed she was ignoring a string of calls between her landline and mobile. She said Nadia was phoning to get her to pay another £150 and she had told her she did not have the money to keep doing this. On investigation it turns out Mum had responded to a leaflet put in the Daily Mail to apply for the Irish Lottery which my dad (now passed away) used to enjoy. This company took out £8 for a few months then it starting increasing to £50 £70 £305 £195 etc etc. I spoke to them. They are a Canadian company that are convinced they are operating legally (maybe but they are not ethical) and that my Mum had agreed to all the payments which are basically additional lottery draws such as the Australian lottery. My Mum says she does not ever recall them talking about amounts to be deducted. They say they have recordings. Trying to explain to this company that taking £305 for a 6 months advance lottery payment was not ethical and why were they taking £195 just a week later and taking out 4 payments throughout January was not acceptable just fell on deaf ears. They are pressurising - bullying - vulnerable people like my Mum to make these payments with the promise of winning and tried to convince me how wonderful they all were. This company are absolutely convinced their approach is acceptable legal and ethical. I have since spoken to the fraud team at Mums bank and have blocked any further payments and told Lotto Express not to contact my Mum again. In addition I am now exploring every avenue to expose this company and to stop their practices in the UK. It was purely by chance I happened to be visiting when this call came otherwise I do not think my proud Mum would have told me and either would have paid it or stressed about the repeated bullying calls she was going to get.
