Slow process one-sided evidence check
- Someone mentioned Laziness on the MADRE organisation here on the reviews. My experience is similar – my first email asking for an update was fully dismissed. After around two months I received the Dispute Resolution. And I believe I would not have received it had I not sent another email request for an update the day earlier. My sportsbook funds were confiscated by a bookmaker operated by L.C.S. Limited almost 3 months ago. I was accused of sports bonus abuse. I filed a complaint to MADRE with several pages of carefully written proof and explanations on why the claim by the bookmaker was not fair and why some of the rules imposed by the bookmaker are by nature such that they could be interpreted as being violated even if the customer just places bets in a normal manner. I was expecting a fair arbiting and a resolution to the case. Instead in the resolution document MADRE mainly cited the terms and conditions provided by the bookmaker in their response to the claim and stated that MADRE follows the argumentation of the defendant.They also decided that the very detailed documentation provided by the complainant could not convince the arbitrator and are therefore rejected. Overall I was left with a feeling that the documentation provided on why the bookmaker is accusing me of something I have not committed was possibly not even read through by MADRE as no reference to the documentation was made on the resolution document. It was also very frustrating that the proof of the bookmaker that I have broken any rules was very non-conclusive. Even though Madre claims that the arbiters are iGaming experts I got the feeling that the Arbiter does not have much experience from the field of sports betting because if they did they would have understood why the claims made by the bookmaker are simply unfair and the rules are not possible to comply with. As someone else has written here on these reviews it feels nonsensical that MADRE does not investigatate the facts of the matter but seems to be happy to just take the plethora of unfair and/or vague rules provided by the gaming provided and investigate their lawfulness as such not investigating whether they were actually broken in the case or whether it would even have been possible to avoid breaking the rules as they have been set so that a normal sports betting behaviour will be ruled as sports bonus abuse. For the process to be fair and transparentI would expect the responsiveness to emails to be more active and the resolutions to address the evidence provided by both parties and not only the evidence from the gaming operators side. With the experience I had I would not recommend using your time to seek resolution from this Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity. As a result of this experience also the credibility value of an operator having an MGA license has decreased in my eyes.

Dumb and Lazy like a rock
- They say they dont investigate the facts but they dont follow procedure too as claimed. 2 out of 3 bookies did not even say what they thought I did wrong but just sended me all the terms how can that be following procedure the right way? Then they said to madre 1 lie 1 stupid interpretation and 1 irrelevant truth( can not be found in terms) which i can not defend myself and then they side with L.C.S limited. And how is that relevant if you dont investigate the facts. Did you even think about the 1 thing you claim to do if just sending terms to player and not saying what he did wrong specifically the right way to follow procedure by the bookie?

Is MADRE really objective?
- I played at a casino with a MGA license. After I found out that they have no German license and therefore are illegal in Germany I contacted MADRE to get my money back on the basis of the illegality in Germany ie illegally obtained money should be handed back as all contracts are void.Now MADRE has replied the following:However MADRE will not consider the particularities of local gambling law or any arguments to the legality or illegality...It appears therefore immaterial whether the Respondent has indeed targeted players in Germany directly or indirectly or created the impression that the offer was legal in Germany.So they do not take the respective law into account! Of course I lost the case and the casino continues to offer its service to German clients...illegal but yeah as no one blames them = why not.So to compare: A drug dealer can sell drugs to a poor German person as long as the person signs his T&Cs which say it is your responsibility to check if drugs are legal in your country or not. According to MADRE thats ok.That does not make sense at all. So I seriously ask myself why MADRE does decide that way? Are they really objective? Or why do they always decide in the favor of the bookmaker?
